The Agh Maw orcs, masters of survival in the wastelands beyond the fertile river, threaten the stability of the ~~human and elven~~ nations that cling to the river's banks. Tensions are high as the humans are forced to cede territory to the orcs, and some fear that war is inevitable. Meanwhile, rumours are spreading of a new power rising in the wastes, a power that seeks to reunite the scattered tribes of the orcs and unleash them upon the world once more. Despite the warnings of their fellow Arcanists, the ruling elite continued their reckless exploitation of the planet, draining it of all its vital essence until it could no longer sustain their lofty cities. Inevitably, the sky-cities began to fall, one by one, leaving only Caelum Civitas as the last bastion of Arcanist power.
