As the party encounters various types of animals or monsters, the information they learn about them will be added here.
Some may be Fadebeasts, others may be animals or unique creatures native to the world.
Some entries may be added in advance as some members of the party have spent time hunting them, or avoiding them, in the past.
Fadebeasts
Lashtail Wyvern
Solitary hunters, opportunists. Will attack their own kind.
Very smart, known to lay traps for prey.
Corrosive, venomous tail.
Poorly suited to moving on the ground, can be thrown off balance if forced to land.
Neck is not strong enough to lift prey, will apply poison and wait for it to do its work.
Rarely seen outside the Mountains.
First encountered being commanded by the Fade Knight at the Solace Massacre.
Fadehounds
Pack hunters, cowards and scavengers.
Resemble dogs, however their skin is scaled like a reptile and thin, snakelike.
The beasts are known to scatter when one of their own falls, but will regroup and stalk the offending prey until an opportune moment for revenge presents itself.
Packs have been known to stalk and seek revenge for hours, or even days.
Among the most common types of Fadebeast to be encountered.
