Solace

Solace is a forest village located in northeastern Aarden, in a valley south of Nostor's Keep.

In addition to being a steady producer of timber, Solace's proximity to the border with the Fade makes it an important location in the network of Fade Collectors.

On the 1st of Harvestdawn, 1219AR, the village of Solace was attacked by a rarely seen grouping of Wyverns. As it was the first day of the Harvest festival and most of the village's residents were at the fairgrounds - nearly the entire population of the village of Solace was killed.
